Why is the Cardiovascular System Important?

The cardiovascular system performs many important functions. These include:

  • Transporting oxygen, nutrients and hormones to use as energy and for growth and repair
  • Transports and removes carbon dioxide and other wastes in the body to be excreted
  • Regulates body temperature

Structure of the heart and blood vessels

Cardiovascular Diseases

Cardiovascular Diseases are a variety of heart and blood vessel conditions where the function of the heart or blood vessels are disrupted. Common cardiovascular diseases include coronary heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, aortic disease and cerebrovascular disease.
These diseases can result in or increase chances of heart attacks and strokes.

Statistic:

In 2020, around 700 000 people in the United States died from heart disease, that amounts to one in every five deaths for the year.

The chances of suffering from heart attacks and heart disease can be significantly reduced by stopping smoking and drinking alcohol, correcting diet and weight, and daily physical activity but genetics and other factors you cannot control also play a big role in cardiovascular health.

What are Cardiomyocytes?

Cardiomyocytes are cells responsible for the contraction of the heart through the use of contractile proteins and ion transporters allowing for the effective execution of the contraction-relaxation cycle with which the heart pumps blood.

To function well cardiomyocytes require the presence of the main contractile proteins: myosin, actin, tropomyosin and troponin. In their absence, myocardial contractions will not occur, which will lead to cardiac arrest.

Unfortunately, there are many damaging factors such as:

  • Alcohol
  • Smoking
  • Improper nutrition
  • Hypodynamia
  • Bad ecology
  • Stress

They cause insufficiency of proteins in cardiomyocytes causing the heart to begin to work intermittently.

Importance of Proteins

Without proteins, cardiomyocytes cannot contract, they become "stretched", and unable to fully perform their functions. In order for cardiomyocytes to recover and be protected from damage, proteins are first of all needed.

Proteins are macronutrients that every cell and tissues are made from. Proteins are made from amino acids. Amino acids are connected together with peptide links  —СО—NH—

Proteins are also required for cardiomyocytes to recover from and be protected from damage. Proteins control the processes of intercellular interaction and determine the ability of the cells to heal and regenerate. All tissues contain certain types of proteins. This was established thanks to the discovery made in 1999 by Günter Blobel, who received the Nobel Prize for his scientific work. The scientist found that the protein molecule is self-regulating.

The regulations of proteins and the way they will combine, act and work together is controlled by the peptides.

Peptides are molecules that are built from amino acids, that act as protein links and regulating messengers controlling and directing most of the functions of cells, tissues and organs.

The lack of peptides (with age or pathology) accelerates tissue wear, aging processes and leads to the development of diseases.

How does EPI-S Cardio Peptide work?

EPI-S Cardio Peptide is made up of natural components derived from plants that have been specially arranged together to create a complex of multiple active ingredients including the microregulators, peptides,  proteins and nucleoproteins with a selective effect on the cells of blood vessels and the cardiovascular system.

This complex has the ability to help regulate metabolic processes of the vascular wall.  In particular, the supplement activates the regeneration of endothelial tissues, stimulates the differentiation and synthesis of structural and functional proteins of the endothelium and consequently restores intercellular interactions.

This causes the normalisation of metabolic processes and capillary functions, the restoration of microcirculation and ultimately the overall health of the cardiovascular system to improve.

Targeted organ cell

Targeted organ cell

Due to the mechanism of transcytosis, the incoming protein in an unchanged form is in the target cell, in this case, the target is heart muscle cells - cardiomyocytes and endothelial cells. Once the active bio-complex reaches the cells, it activates the peptide regulation process to start regeneration and recovery of the cells and to saturate them with an optimal protein "diet", allowing the cells to recover faster and normalize their functions, primarily the contractile function of the cardiomyocytes and multiple functions of endothelial cells.

Results:

Clinical trials of EPI-S Cardio Peptide were carried out in Ukraine on 160 patients with coronary heart disease, hypertension, as well as in 70 patients with the consequences of myocardial infarction. It has been proven that people who took EPI-S Cardio Peptide had a clear positive trend in both subjective and objective indicators: the number of general complaints decreased; significantly decreased the frequency and duration of angina attacks; in some patients, it was possible to reduce the daily dose of drugs that they took on an ongoing basis. At the same time, there was an increase in exercise tolerance - patients were able to perform more tasks independently and without shortness of breath.

Dosage and Administration:

Children under 14: Take 1 capsule twice a day 30 minutes before meals.

Adults: Take 1 capsule 3 times daily 30 minutes before meals.

Minimal course duration: 3 months

**EPI-S Cardio Peptide can cause temporary aggravation of the symptoms, in that case reduce dosage to one capsule a day for two weeks and gradually increase to the recommended dosage**
