There are different opinions about the efficiency and safety of new emerging products. The introduction of Etalon Cell developed based on a Nobel prize laureate Elisabeth Blackburn didn't escape this kind of scientific paradoxical debate either.
Internet users will find a lot of contradictory information concerning the maintenance of the telomere length by using Astragalus root derivatives which are able to enhance production of the telomerase enzyme. Increased production of the telomerase enzyme will result in the telomere caps not breaking which leads to a delayed ageing of the involved cells.
This being said there is no disputable proven fact that oncogene cells use the same method to avoid apoptosis and maintain their existence using the telomerase enzyme. Also this is absolutely NOT relevant to any increased danger of getting or maintaining cancer.
We cannot mix up the cause and the symptoms. To explain this a little bit more - cancer cells use a lot of other substances which allow them to survive.
One of them is blood which they use for their nutrition with glycolysis and for their metastases. I assume that everyone will agree we cannot ban blood as a cancer causing factor.
