Diabetes:
Diabetes (diabetes mellitus) is a chronic disease which occurs when the pancreas is unable to produce enough insulin or when the body is unable to properly use the insulin it produces. Insulin is a hormone that regulates glucose in the blood.
Type 1 - A chronic condition where the pancreas produces little to no insulin caused by an autoimmune reaction which destroys the beta cells in the pancreas that make insulin.
Type 2 - A chronic condition where the way the body processes glucose in the blood is affected. The body either doesn’t produce enough insulin or it resists the hormone.

Importance of Proteins
For insulin signalling, insulin receptors require proteins to activate and trigger cells so they can take in glucose.
Proteins are macronutrients that every cell and tissues are made from. Proteins are made from amino acids. Amino acids are connected together with peptide links —СО—NH—
Proteins are also required for cardiomyocytes to recover from and be protected from damage. Proteins control the processes of intercellular interaction and determine the ability of the cells to heal and regenerate. All tissues contain certain types of proteins. This was established thanks to the discovery made in 1999 by Günter Blobel, who received the Nobel Prize for his scientific work. The scientist found that the protein molecule is self-regulating.
The regulations of proteins and the way they will combine, act and work together is controlled by the peptides.
Peptides are molecules that are built from amino acids, that act as protein links and regulating messengers controlling and directing most of the functions of cells, tissues and organs.
The lack of peptides (with age or pathology) accelerates tissue wear, aging processes and leads to the development of diseases.
How does EPI-D2 work?
EPI-D2 is made up of natural components derived from plants that have been specially arranged together to create a complex of multiple active ingredients including the microregulators,peptides, proteins and nucleoproteins with a selective effect on insulin receptors and the stimulation of insulin production in the pancreas.This complex has the ability to help regulate metabolic processes of insulin receptors and the pancreas. In particular, the supplement helps the insulin receptors to function properly and allow cells to absorb glucose from the blood. This causes the normalisation of metabolic processes and ultimately blood sugar regulation improving.

Due to the mechanism of transcytosis, the incoming protein in an unchanged form is in the target cell, in this case, the target is insulin receptors and the beta cells responsible for creating insulin in the pancreas .
Once active bio-complex reach the cells, it activates peptide regulation process to start regeneration and recovery of the cells and to saturate them with an optimal protein "diet", allowing the cells to recover faster and normalize their functions, primarily the regulation of glucose in the blood.
Results:
Clinical trials of Bioono Epi-D2 were carried out in Ukraine on 250 patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes for 90 days. After 40 days of use, short and long sugars decreased in 100% of respondents.
Moreover, 10% at this stage confirmed an improvement in vision, 30% of respondents had decreased gum bleeding, and 5 people noted a decrease/absence of a usual allergic reaction when taking other medications. 45% rated a significant improvement in the psycho-emotional state, strength gain, improvement in working capacity after 2-3 weeks of taking the drug.
Eighteen respondents with type 1 diabetes, after consultation with their physicians, had their insulin doses reduced as early as the first month of taking the drug (the reduction was prescribed to each individual, according to their stable blood sugar data).
A general downward trend in the doses of diabetic drugs taken was observed in all respondents with type 2 diabetes.
Later tests showed an improvement in kidney and liver function in 85% of the respondents. In addition to the beneficial effect of EPI-D2 on blood sugar levels, virtually all respondents confirmed an improvement in well-being and the elimination of some other side effects of diabetes
Dosage and Administration:
The supplement is used orally (In pills). The daily dose of the supplement is calculated based on weight (kg.).
Daily dose can be divided into 2-3 doses. According to the values of morning sugar, select individually the amount of the product used in the evening (For example, with a dosage of 4 pills per day, take 2 pills for lunch and 2 pills for dinner, and with increased morning sugar, shift the dose to the evening or otherwise add to the evening dose 1 – 2 pills of the product. When sugars stabilize for 3-5 days, choose an individual form of use according to the recommended dosage).

Suggested Use
Children Under 14: Take 1 capsule, twice a day, 30 minutes before meals.
Adults: Take 1 capsule 3 times a day, 30 minutes before meals.Â
Optimal results are obtained by using this product for at least 3 months.
